SOMTA is a Tri-State trade association of more than 50 recreational boat dealers, marina operators, boat service companies, marine lenders and marine insurance companies. SOMTA was formed and is dedicated to growing recreational boating in the Tri-State area. SOMTA members are active in Columbus, ever watchful for proposed legislation and/or regulatory actions which could adversely effect all of our boating lifestyles. SOMTA promotes safe, friendly, relaxed quality family boating of all types. Whether that be fishing, water sports or just pleasure boating, our main focus is promoting the boating lifestyle.
